On the Blind Spot, I write about finance, business, economics and media. I have longstanding experience writing about all of the above, with a specific focus on fintech, cryptocurrency, central banking, CBDCs and markets.
I was previously the editor of the Financial Times’ business and finance blog/service Alphaville as well as a regular opinion writer for the paper. I was at the FT for 13 years. Before that I worked as an associate producer for CNBC, and as a reporter at Platts and Reuters.
I am now also senior finance editor at POLITICO Europe.
